SEN support and signposting

Helping parents navigate the SEN maze with clarity and confidence

If you’re a parent of a neurodivergent child, you’ll know how overwhelming it can feel trying to get them the support they need in the UK education system. Endless paperwork, waiting lists, confusing terminology, and a lack of clear guidance can leave you feeling stuck and exhausted.

I can’t assess or diagnose your child myself, but I can be a calm, knowledgeable guide to help you cut through the noise and take the next right steps.

I work with parents like you to:

  • Understand your child’s learning profile and unique needs

  • Explore available support options in schools and beyond

  • Signpost you to trusted professionals for assessments and interventions

  • Help you advocate confidently for your child in meetings and paperwork

  • Support your emotional wellbeing as you navigate the system

Why work with me?

With over 20 years of experience as a specialist teacher, I’ve supported countless neurodiverse children and their families to thrive both at home and in education. I also have lived experience of raising four neurodiverse children, each with unique needs.
